Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

FredSky ("the app," "we," "us") is a personal astronomy app for iPhone. It is not a commercial service: there are no accounts, no ads, no analytics for marketing, and no data brokers. Your information is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for their own purposes, and nothing you do in the app is used to track you across other apps or websites.

2. Information the app uses

FredSky has no sign-up and asks for nothing about your identity — no name, no email, no account. It uses only what it needs to work:

3. What stays on your device

Your bird sightings (the life list), your night-mode and display preferences, and the downloaded star and satellite data live only on your iPhone. They are not uploaded to us. Deleting the app removes them.

4. How your information is used

That's all. Your data is never used for advertising, profiling, or tracking.

5. Services that help run the app

These providers process data only to perform the functions above, on our behalf:

6. Your choices

You can grant or revoke Location, Microphone, and Camera access at any time in the iPhone Settings → FredSky. Denying them simply disables the related feature — the offline star chart still works. Because there is no account and no personal data is retained on our servers, there is nothing to delete server-side; removing the app clears everything held on your device.

7. Children

FredSky is not directed at children and collects no personal information for advertising or tracking from anyone.

8. Changes and contact

If this policy changes, the date above will be updated. Questions: fred@fleetidy.com.
